Around Funkstown

December 22, 2009|By SUSIE HOFFMAN

Snow day

Good morning, friends. It is so good to sit and visit with you just a few short days before Christmas. I trust that we are all in the holiday spirit and anxious to be able to relax with family and loved ones.

The weather this past weekend was certainly beautiful and almost magical. Of course, I was not the one digging out the cars and shoveling the sidewalks. What fun for the teachers and students to have Monday off to enjoy the snow one more day and work on some holiday baking or wrapping or whatever was necessary.

Reminder

Don't forget, tonight is the winter concert at South Hagerstown High School at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

Red Cross
