Roads mostly passable

few accidents reported

Emergency services around the region reported that roadways were mostly passable Monday morning.

Some minor accidents were reported in Washington County and in Berkeley County, W.Va., emergency services dispatchers said.

In Franklin and Fulton counties in Pennsylvania, major roads were clear and passable, dispatchers said.

Waynesboro, Pa., lifted its snow emergency at 9 a.m. Monday.

The snow emergency plan in Frederick County, Md., was lifted at 10 a.m. Monday, Maryland State Police said.

In Washington County, the snow emergency plan was lifted Sunday night for interstates 68, 70 and 81. The plan remained in effect on all other highways in the county, state police said.
