Fulton County man faces sexual assault charge

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - A McConnellsburg man was arrested Friday after he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old McConnellsburg girl between Nov. 6 and Nov. 15, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Timothy M. McFadden Jr., 34, was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful conduct with a minor, aggravated indecent assault and other charges. He was released after posting bond, police said.

The alleged acts occurred at various locations in the Ayr and Licking Creek Townships, state police said.

Cash reported stolen from Greencastle flower shop

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - About $600 in cash was stolen from Fisher's Florist at 782 Buchanan Trail East after the shop was burglarized sometime Thursday or Friday, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

The shop was broken into between 5 p.m. Thursday and 7:25 a.m. Friday, the release said.

Saturday, Dec. 12

o Damage to a truck was reported on Timmons Road in Franklin County.

Friday, Dec. 18

o Access device fraud was reported in the 100 block of Greenleaf Road.

Saturday, Dec. 19

o A hit-and-run accident occurred in a parking lot at Whitetail Resort. Damage to a Honda Civic was reported.
