Students cater holiday tea

December 18, 2009

Members of the Hagerstown Branch of the American Association of University Women had Wildcat Catering of Williamsport High School cater its holiday tea at the Miller House, headquarters of the Washington County Historical Society.

AAUW members and their guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and sweets prepared by the students under the guidance of teacher Jeanne "Dusty" Graham.

Williamsport is one of four Washington County high schools participating in the ProStart, a program funded by the National Restaurant Education Foundation.  The goal of the program is to educate students in the basics necessary to become a food professional.
