F&M Trust
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - F&M Trust was selected as a 2009 recipient of The Wally Amos Community Service Award presented by the American Literacy Corporation (ALC) at the organization's annual dinner Dec. 3 at the Hershey (Pa.) Lodge and Convention Center.
ALC Executive Director Floyd Stokes presented the award to Ken Ditzler, senior vice president and marketing manager of F&M Trust, for the bank's support of literacy efforts in the community.
For the last seven years, bank employees supported the SuperReader Library Tour in Franklin, Fulton and Cumberland counties. More than 75 F&M Trust employees have volunteered for the program at library and school visits, and have participated at ALC read-a-thons in Carlisle, Pa., and book distributions through the First Book program. The bank also has been a financial supporter of the tours and the ALC.
Fulton County Medical Center
McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Patients at Fulton County Medical Center now can pay their bills online.
To access the online bill-paying feature, go to www.fcmcpa.org and click on "Pay Bill."
In addition to the online bill-paying feature, the medical center's paper bills have a new look. The new bill includes a message section, services description, information on billing assistance and a post-it note feature to draw attention to other information.
The medical center has contracted with a company to assist with patient accounts and send out statements, which will be mailed with an Ohio return address.
Phone calls to make payment arrangements can be made directly to an 800 or local phone number. The option will allow for extended office hours - Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customer service representatives will be available to help patients with questions on their bills.

WINCHESTER, Va. - RCD Inc. Electrical Services recently was awarded the electrical contract for the Winchester Medical Center campus expansion project with the Whiting-Turner Contracting Co.
The two-year expansion project will be constructed by RCD's local work force using the latest advancements in energy-efficient electrical products and technology.
