Tyrone Leonard Miner, 55, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born Monday, Nov. 8, 1954, in Baltimore City, Md., he was the son of the late Uzel McNeal and the late Gloria Louise Miner Harris.
He was employed at Nick's Airport Inn and attended Zion Baptist Church. He also served in the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by a son, Tyrone l. Miner Jr., of Hagerstown; three sisters, Jean A. Volcy of Hagerstown, Earlene H. Noel of Baltimore, Md., and Darlene M. White of Baltimore; five brothers, Louis E. Johnson of Baltimore, Charles Miner of Baltimore, Robert A. Snowden Jr. of Hagerstown, Douglas L. Miner of Hagerstown and Stephen R. Harris of Greencastle, Pa.; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and a special friend, Linda Earl of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David L. Miner.
