Dick is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carol L. (Becker) Myers; his stepdaughters, Annamarie (McGann) Dugan and her husband, Ron, of Frostburg, Md.; and Marilyn Elizabeth (McGann) McKenzie and her husband, Jeff, of Mount Savage, Md.; his stepson, Brian F. McGann and his partner, Rob Cameron, of Seattle, Wash.; his son, John D. Myers and his wife, Katie, of Mount Savage; his daughter, Amanda F. Frampton and her husband, Bradley, of Corriganville; his fishing buddies; his grandchildren, Jarrett McKenzie and Clayton McKenzie, both of Mount Savage, and Mackenzy Dugan and Paige Dugan, both of Frostburg. Dick is also survived by his brothers, Robert Myers and his wife, Barbara; and Ralph Myers and his wife, Barbara, all of Hagerstown; and three brothers-in-law, Larry Becker and his wife Joyce, of Goose Creek, S.C.; Wayne Becker and his wife Susan, of Hagerstown; and Rick Becker of Goose Creek.
Friends will be received Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Adams Family Funeral Home P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, Md. (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com).
A funeral service will be conducted Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Iser officiating.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172 Honor Guard.
Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans' Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
