Elinor Constance Beck, 85, of Hagerstown, Md., and most recently a resident of Coffman Nursing Home, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at Coffman Nursing Home, Hagerstown.

Born June 18, 1924, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late William Bernard and Flora Edna Keister Flint.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clement Beck Jr., in 1991.

She was a homemaker.

She was of the Protestant faith.

She enjoyed drawing, painting, singing, planting flowers, and watching butterflies and hummingbirds.

Survivors include son, Charles C. Beck III and his wife Sue of Plattsburg, N.Y.; son, John F. Beck and his wife Teresa of Hagerstown; son, David P. Beck of Hagerstown; sister, Audrey Phipps of Annapolis, Md.; granddaughter, Jamie M. Morgan and her husband David of Hagerstown; and great-grandchildren, McKenzi and Blake.


She was predeceased by one sister, Lola May Dudley.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 1 p.m. Sunday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Nancy J. Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
