New Wine Cellar Coffeehouse, across from the Oasis of Love Church, 303 S. Washington St., Shippensburg, Pa., The Gift of God will be the theme at tonight's coffeehouse beginning at 7:30 p.m., an event for the whole family or for a teen's night out (ages 13 and older).

Mountain View Baptist Church, 12107 Walnut Point Road, Hagerstown, tonight and Sunday, the choir and drama group will perform the cantata "The Call of Christmas" at 7 p.m.

The Robert Kennedy Memorial Presbyterian Church, Pa. 995 and Pa. 416, Fort Loudon, Pa., the annual candlelight nondenominational service at the 138-year-old church will be tonight at 7. There are no restroom facilities. A reception will follow at the 11559 Lincoln Way West, Fort Loudon, Pa., home of Pam and Sid Craddock.

Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., a soup/bake sale today begins at 10 a.m. and continues until sold out. Vegetable and bean soup will be sold for $6 quart.


New Covenant Fellowship Church, Fairplay, the Christmas production "And The Angels Watched" will be presented today and Sunday at 7 p.m.

Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., the monthly Light Up Your Life, Come As You Are worship service is Sunday at 5:30 p.m. followed by caroling. Christmas carols will be sung along with a special message.

Central Baptist Chapel, Mont Alto, Pa., Evangelist Dan Ham will speak Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Mount Vernon Reformed UCC, 64 S. Main St., Keedysville, will host Jonas Dawson and the music fraternity and sorority from Shepherd University for Songs of Christmas from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Soup, sandwich and Christmas cookies will be served following the concert.

Greencastle (Pa.) Church of God, 4480 Buchanan Trail West, the movie "The Nativity Story" will be shown Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m.

Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, 36 Laing Drive, Martinsburg, W.Va., (Four Mile Woods), an auction will be Friday, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m.

Washington Square United Methodist Church, 538 Washington Ave., in LeFew Hall (rear entrance), an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Saturday, Dec. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon, tickets cost $6. Sponsored by New Beginnings Community Church youth to raise funds for a mission trip in 2010.

Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, 134 S. Main St., Boonsboro, a Blue Christmas service will be Sunday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. for those who are going through a difficult time. At the end of the service, there will be a time for those who choose to light a candle in memory of a loved one or to lift up a burden they are carrying.
