The Hagerstown Trust Division of The Columbia Bank recently donated $466.39 to Breast Cancer Awareness-Cumberland Valley (BCA-CV). The money was raised through fees from customers using the bank's "Self-Serve" Coin Counting Machines. The fee for use of the coin-counting machines is 6 percent, with all proceeds donated to a different local charity each month.
To date, $8,850.63 has been donated to local charities from the use of the coin machines.
