St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will lead Sunday's 8 a.m. communion service and 10:15 a.m. communion service of Advent Lessons and Carols. Sunday school classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m. The adult forum topic is Mary in the Bible.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming will preside at the 8:15 a.m. communion service and 10:30 a.m. service of word and prayer Sunday on Stir Us Up. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Eric Norgard is preacher and presider Sunday at the 8:30 a.m praise worship in fellowship hall and the 10:55 a.m. evangelical service in the sanctuary. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. Lay assisting minister is Jane Drawbaugh.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney will lead the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service on Do You Hear What I Hear? The Logan family will light the third Advent candle. Mooney and his puppet friends will share a children's sermon.

Full morning children's and student programs are offered for infants through 12th grade, along with many choices for adults during both sessions.
