The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at eight locations -- Hancock, Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport, Clear Spring and three in Hagerstown.

The agency requires that you call by 11:30 a.m. to give them a two-working-days reservation notice. A donation is asked per meal. For information, call 301-790-0275.

Weekly menu

o Wednesday -- Taco mac casserole with beans, corn, garden salad, kiwi, orange sherbet, bread and milk.

o Thursday -- Hamburger with lettuce, tomato and onion, baked beans, coleslaw, applesauce and milk.

o Friday -- Turkey ham steak with honey-raisin sauce, whipped sweet potatoes, green beans, corn muffin, pineapple and milk.

o Monday -- Sweet and sour sauce, chicken tenders, potato wedges, mixed vegetables, tropical fruit cocktail, bread and milk.

o Tuesday -- Bean soup with crackers, hot turkey ham and cheese sandwich, creamy lettuce, clementine, frozen fruit cup and milk.
