GREENSBORO, N.C. - Mack Trucks Inc. diesel engines have been certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board to meet the near-zero emissions standards that take effect in January.
The Mack MP7 and MP8 engines are now recognized to meet the strictest diesel emissions standards in the world.
Mack is the first truck manufacturer to have its heavy-duty diesel engines certified for 2010 by both EPA and CARB.

Associated Builders and Contractors
Associated Builders and Contractors Cumberland Valley Chapter presented U.S. Rep. Roscoe Bartlett with its "Champion of the Merit Shop" award at a recent luncheon.
The commendation is given to members of Congress who have an 80 percent or better voting record on the association's priority issues in Congress. Bartlett, R-Md., has voted with ABC 100 percent of the time.
