WILLIAMSPORT - Olca Mae King, age 91, of Homewood of Williamsport, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, from her home.

Born on March 4, 1918, in Claylick, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William Tosten and Viola Atherton Tosten.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Pete" Vincent King, in 2000.

She was a previous member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church of Big Pool, Md., and most recently a member of the Hilltop Christian Fellowship. She was a homemaker.


She is survived by five daughters, Olca Mae Mellott and Janet Mellott, both of Clear Spring, Vivian Smith and Margaret Chamberlin, both of Hagerstown, and Gloria Hamilton of California; three sons, Paul V. King of Winter Haven, Fla., Glenn King of California, and Franklin King of Clear Spring; three sisters, Gladys Baker of Pennsylvania, Helen Alsip and Betty Halls, both of Hagerstown; one brother, Glenn Tosten of Washington; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four infant children and one son, Hiram King and two brothers, Earl Tosten and Raymond Tosten.

Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. The Rev. Dennis Whitmore will officiate. Burial will be in the Little Rose Hill Cemetery in Clear Spring.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. For the convenience of friends you may visit the funeral home after 1 p.m.
