Hawks rally to beat Baltimore City

BALTIMORE -- Hagerstown Community College dug itself an early hole, but clawed its way out to defeat Baltimore City Community College 74-69 in a Maryland JuCo Conference game on Wednesday.

The Hawks (3-3, 1-1) fell behind 17-0 before rallying. They cut their deficit to nine points by halftime and evened the score in the first five minutes of the second half.

Najee White had 15 points, 22 rebounds and five blocks, Demetrus Richardson had 16 points, K'yan Andrews had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Jonathan Ford had 12 points for the Hawks.

On Saturday and Sunday, HCC will host the Jim Brown Classic, featuring Allegany College of Maryland, Cecil College and Monroe (Bronx).
