Lois Jane Tritsch, 83, of Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Feb. 11, 1926, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Mary Kate Gruber Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Milford Tritsch, on Aug. 24, 2009.

She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.

She was a member of Ladies of the Elks No. 378, and was active in their fundraising events. She was a member of Funkstown American Legion Post 211 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former volunteer with the National Little League, giving many years of service. She was an avid bowler.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann L. (Cindy) Moats and husband, Pete, of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Karen L. Sandidge of Grayson, Ga.; four sons, R. Michael Tritsch and wife, Teresa, of Newnan, Ga., Les M. Tritsch and wife, Linda, of Williamsport, Md., Kenneth M. Tritsch of Sturgis, S.D., and Thomas M. Tritsch and companion, Deborah Near, of Hagerstown; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Negley and Doris Elaine Williams; four brothers, George E. Williams, Allen C. Williams, V. Harold Williams and Edwin V. Williams; and daughter-in-law, Sandra K. Tritsch, wife of son, Kenneth.

Funeral services will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Darrell L. Layman will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
