South Mountain Creamery and South Mountain Veggies, based in Middletown, Md., have donated 20 complete Thanksgiving dinners to the Angel Tree program at Fountain Rock Elementary School, where principal Mike Telemeco and staff decided to share the companies' generous contribution with Conococheague and Rockland Woods elementary schools.

The Angel Tree program is an annual effort at Fountain Rock that provides winter coats and clothing, holiday meals, and children's presents to less fortunate families.

"South Mountain Creamery and Veggies greatly exceeded our hopes in both the quality and size of their donation and we thought it was right to share with other schools and their families who might be struggling at this time of year," Telemeco said.

The donated meals include a turkey, fresh vegetables, stuffing and homemade pies for the families who were selected by the staff at each school.
