Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my family and friends.

Dramatic interpretation

On the first Sunday in Advent, Dr. Renee Mackey will present a dramatic interpretation of the angel appearing to Mary with the news of Jesus' birth. What did Mary feel when she heard the news of her upcoming pregnancy? How did her faith sustain her through the rejection from her family and friends that was sure to come?

The dramatic interpretation will be Sunday at 10 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church off Jefferson Boulevard between Eastern Boulevard and Robinwood Drive. A time of fellowship follows.

Celebration of ministry

A celebration of The Rev. Sandra Kline-Mortimer as vicar at St. Anne's Episcopal Church will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. It will be a celebration of the new ministry.
