Mason-Dixon Council holds annual Cub Scout Extravaganza

The Mason-Dixon Council hosted its annual Cub Scout Extravaganza Nov. 7 at Leitersburg Ruritan Park. Approximately 250 Cub Scouts and their siblings attended the event.

The attendees had the opportunity to participate in archery, BB shooting, face painting, crafts, inflatable bounce, obstacle course, fly fish casting and a climbing wall. There was also an opportunity for parents and Cub Scouts to learn about the religious emblems program, which is offered by Boy Scouts of America.

Scott Paddack chaired the event with the assistance of Dan Horn, Charlie Benner, Marshall Hammer, Rob Stacy, Monica Whitmer, Darlene Huff, Paul Rhodes, Gary Little, Cheyenne Little, Sarah Pietrzak, Chris Dillard, John Navarri, Alex Paddack, Emily Seifarth, Carl Witmer, Greg Smith and Rob Storer. Boy Scouts Devin Little and Daved Paddack, from Troop 10, parked cars and assisted with the activities.

The Mason-Dixon Council serves youths in Washington, Franklin and Fulton counties.
