N.Y. man charged in Hagerstown stabbing

HAGERSTOWN -- A Hagerstown woman was treated at Washington County Hospital on Sunday morning and released after being stabbed in the right leg, Hagerstown Police Sgt. John Lehman said.

Police would not release the victim's identity.

Robert William Bradley, 33, who is from Manhattan, N.Y., but was living at 47 Murph Ave. in Hagerstown, was charged with second-degree assault, as well as possession of crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, police said.

The stabbing at 47 Murph Ave., off North Jonathan Street near downtown Hagerstown, was reported at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Lehman said.

The two people were arguing before the woman was stabbed, Lehman said.
