Sagittarius Salon & Spa

Faith Prather and Jeramie Simpson of Sagittarius Salon & Spa recently completed training with the TIGI (Toni & Guy) Creative Team at the TIGI Advanced Academy in New York.

The course included a complete overview of superior cutting and coloring techniques for strong foundational skills and current trendsetting styles.

Wright-Gardner Insurance

Christian Wright of Wright-Gardner Insurance recently received the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation from Certified Risk Managers International.

To attain the CRM designation, Wright completed all five courses in the program and passed extensive examinations in each of the following subject areas - Principles of Risk Management, Analysis of Risk, Control of Risk, Financing of Risk and Practice of Risk Management.

Certified Risk Managers International is a nonprofit organization founded by the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.

Sacred Spaces Hypnosis & Reiki Center

Anna Hargett, owner of Sacred Spaces Hypnosis and Reiki Center, is now working out of O'Neill Physical Therapy Services in Hagers-town.


Hargett is a registered nurse who has been in the medical field for more than 35 years. She has been practicing hypnotherapy since 1994, when she received her certification from the Hypnodyne Foundation in Florida.

Hargett is a member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists. She also studied Reiki Energy Healing under Dick Deaner and Nancy Langmead and received her Usui Reiki Master/Teacher certification.

Hargett also is a certified childbirth educator, certified through Prepared Childbirth Educators Inc. in Pennsylvania. She specializes in assisting mothers-to-be with the delivery process.

Hargett also teaches Reiki classes and energy healing classes at Hagerstown Community College.

Tower Bank

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - John H. Roney II recently joined Tower Bank as vice president/commercial relationship manager.

Roney, a resident of Fairplay, will be responsible for building and growing a portfolio of commercial customers through the sale of loan and deposit services throughout the Maryland region.

Roney has more than 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Tower Bank, Roney served as a vice president/business adviser for PNC Bank in Hagerstown. He also worked for Sovereign Bank.

Roney is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College in North Carolina. He also is a graduate of the ABA Commercial Lending School and the RMA Advanced Commercial Lending School.

Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Scott Palmer and James Stoneham of the Greencastle office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA recently were recognized as agents of the month for October.

Palmer was recognized in the three years and over in the business category and Stoneham was recognized in the three years and under in the business category.

The award was given based on the number of listings taken, sales made, closed sales, attendance at Realtor functions and continuing education classes completed.
