HAGERSTOWN, MD - Charles Erwin "Chuck" Snyder III, 55, of Hagerstown, Md., died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at his home.

Born July 3, 1954, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was son the late James B. and Beulah A. Fox Adams.

He was a 1972 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.

He was an electrician with Infinity Electric Co. of Baltimore, Md., and was previously employed by Natelco of Baltimore and Ellsworth Electric of Hagerstown.

He was a member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren of Hagerstown. He served as an usher and previously sang in the choir. He also played in the church softball league.

He was a lifetime member of Conococheague Tribe 84 IORM of Williamsport, Md., where he was a member of the Horseshoe League. He was also a member of the United Electrical Workers of Baltimore.

He enjoyed bowling and played in several leagues.

Survivors include fiance, Joyce L. Neal Hines of Hagerstown and her daughter, Jodi K. Hines Ebersole, and Jodi's children, Bradley, Erica and Brooke, all of Hagerstown; daughter, Courtney B. Snyder of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Cody S. Snyder of Jacksonville; sister, Sheryll A. Kees and her husband, Larry, of Clear Spring, Md.; sister, Althea A. Rase and her husband, Richard, of Hagerstown; sister, Wanda S. Winner and her husband, Raymond, of Hagerstown; sister, Marilyn F. Upchurch and her husband, Tony, of Reston, Va.; sister, Kay Barilla and her husband, Frank, of Baltimore; brother, Gregory E. Snyder and wife, Marie, of Hagerstown; brother, Harold W. "Skip" Snyder and his wife, Jeanette, of Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Shelva O. Clark.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 1 p.m. on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be beld at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Edward L. Poling officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
