The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at eight locations - Hancock, Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport, Clear Spring and three in Hagerstown.

The agency requires that you call by 11:30 a.m. to give them a two-working-days reservation notice. A donation is asked per meal. For information, call 301-790-0275.

Weekly menu

o Wednesday - Tomato soup with crackers, toasted-cheese sandwich, cucumber and onion salad, sliced apples, bread and milk.

o Thursday - Cranberry sauce, roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sliced carrots, sauerkraut, stuffing, banana and milk.

o Friday - Three-bean salad, catfish, scalloped potatoes, kale, pineapple, bread and milk.

o Monday - Pepperoni pizza, succotash, creamy lettuce, apricots, wacky cupcake with peanut butter icing, and milk.

o Tuesday - Chicken teriyaki with mini egg roll, brown rice, Oriental- blend vegetables, applesauce, bread and milk.
