October was a busy month for the staff and doctors at Allegany Dental.
They volunteered their time to help with the Women Build Habitat for Humanity House. Also, the staff presented a check for $500 to Breast Cancer Awareness-Cumberland Valley as a result of their fundraising efforts. For the past year, they had the opportunity to "Wear Pink for a Cause" once a month and donate $5.
This year, Allegany Dental Care will be a drop-off location for Toys for Tots.
In December, the community support efforts will continue, as staff members and doctors will be wrapping gifts at Valley Mall for the American Red Cross.
Santa Claus will arrive at Long Meadow Shopping Center on Friday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m.
On Saturday, the Hagerstown Rescue Mission Ladies Auxiliary will hold a holiday bazaar at the Trinity Center off Walnut Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to Christmas decorations, crafts, collectibles and jewelry for sale, there will be baked goods, candy, hot sandwiches, soups and drinks available.
