Miss Penny's porch



The Maugansville Historical Society will be conducting the "Miss Penny's Porch" campaign until Pride Day 2010. Money collected will help pay for the gazebo and the placement of benches and flowers and other landscaping and maintenance. Collection jars have been placed in businesses in the Maugansville area.

Canned food drive



On Nov. 14, the Salem Reformed Church youth group will be conducting a canned food drive in Garden Spot development in Maugansville. Youth will be knocking on doors beginning at 2 p.m. and all non-perishable food donations will be given to the local food bank.

The Maugansville Elementary School has been holding a Wolfgang Candy Fundraiser. Those of you who have ordered may pick up Saturday, Nov. 14, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon.
