Pa. State Police handle drug, damage calls

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police responded to the following incidents:

Thursday, Nov. 5

n Marijuana, drug paraphernalia and weapons were seized on Peach Orchard Road in McConnellsburg, Pa.

Saturday, Nov. 7

n A red 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 was damaged in the 300 block of Pitt Street in Hustontown, Pa. The paint was scratched with a rock and the taillights were scratched, police said. There was about $2,500 in damage to the vehicle.

Martinsburg woman faces drug charges

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A Martinsburg Police Department officer pulled over a motorist on West Race Street on Saturday night and found 70 grams of suspected marijuana among her personal belongings, according to a press release.


Jenna Janela Clark, 19, of 948 Crushed Apple Drive, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, according to the release.

The incident occurred about 8:19 p.m. when Patrolman A. Albaugh stopped a white Pontiac Grand Am for suspicion of speeding, the release said.

When Albaugh made contact with Clark, he detected an odor of alcoholic beverage. Clark failed sobriety tests and was charged with DUI, the release said.

The suspected pot found in Clark's belongings was individually wrapped in 65 packages, the release said.

Incidents reported in Washington County

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following incidents:

Monday, Nov. 9

o At 1:14 a.m., two firearms were reported stolen from a residence in the 24700 block of Waldheim Road.

o At 11:05 a.m., a burglary at a shed in the 12000 block of Itnyre Road was reported.

o At 1:29 p.m., a report of lights damaged at a residence in the 21800 block of Old Forge Road.

o At 6:04 p.m., a registration plate and mounting bracket was reported stolen at the Valley Mall parking lot.

o At 11:22 p.m., a drug paraphernalia seizure on White Hall Road and Jefferson Boulevard.
