As of Monday afternoon, no charges had been filed in the accident.

King confirmed that someone near the accident scene assaulted driver Zoltan Mandy after the impact. Mandy, of Waynesboro, was taken to Waynesboro Hospital.

Two teenage boys also were injured when Mandy's car accelerated after colliding with a pickup truck driven by Ricky Deshong of Waynesboro. Mandy's car crossed the sidewalk and yard at 101 Myrtle Ave., before hitting the house.
