St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will speak Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. The parish choir will provide music at the later service. Sunday school classes begin at 9 a.m., including an adult forum on The First Paul.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Quentin Fleming will preside at the 8:15 a.m. worship and the 10:30 a.m. communion services Sunday on the topic, Your Money and Your Life. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Kathleen Reed is guest preacher Sunday at the 8:30 a.m. praise worship in fellowship hall and the 10:55 a.m. evangelical worship service in the sanctuary. Lay assisting minister at the later service is John Ziesmer.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney will lead the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service on A Little Goes A Long Way. Mooney and one of his puppet friends will also share a children's sermon.


First Christian Church, Interim Minister Tim Murtaugh will give the message, The Danger of Acting Religious, at the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. services Sunday. Special music by David McKinley, the Crusaders and Chancel choirs. Sunday school for all ages at 11:15 a.m.

First Baptist Church, 15 High St., Hagerstown, Pastor Thom Smith will speak at the 11 a.m. service Sunday on The Master's Men, Part 3. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. Sunday service at 6 p.m.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Rachel Black will speak at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Stan Barkdoll is worship leader. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Trinity Episcopal Church, Chambersburg, Pa., Sunday, the Rev. Edward Peck will be preacher/celebrant at the 8 and 10 a.m. services on a stewardship theme. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, Sunday, the topic at the 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. services is The Secret of Spiritual Power. Bible Study for all ages at 9 a.m. Sunday evening's 6 p.m. Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries on the theme, A Very Popular Text. Wednesday's youth service is at 7 p.m. on Living Stones.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the message at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday is If I Win the Lottery! Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., Pastor Larry Weber will speak at 10:40 a.m. Sunday on The Spirit of Truth. Christian Education for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Family fellowship at 6 p.m. on A Priest Dies. Wednesday is the 6:06 p.m. gathering, a meal, prayer and Bible study. Teen Club at 7 p.m.

A Cry in the Wilderness Ministries, 13194 Monterey Lane, meeting in Steve's Studio/Gallery at Tracey's Corner in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. will feature the topic, The Lord Jehovah is my Strength, by Pastor Steve Burdette. Melissa Ambrose will lead children's Bible time.

Full morning children's and student programs are offered for infants through 12th grade, along with many choices for adults during both sessions. Youth groups for high school and middle school held at 6 p.m.
