WILLIAMSPORT - Timothy Wayne "Tim" Andrews, 70, of Williamsport, Md., died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at his home.

Born April 26, 1939, in Hagerstown, Md., to the late Harry Jacob and Leona Janette Mullinex Andrews.

He was employed by Martin's Potato Chips of Hagerstown, Md., until retiring in 1996. He was previously employed by RC Bottling Co., Hagerstown, Md., and Seven Up Bottling Co. of Hagerstown, Md.

He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hagerstown, Md.

He was also a member of Conococheague Tribe No. 84 IORM of Williamsport, Md., Potomac Post No. 202 Sons of the American Legion of Williamsport, Md., and Western Maryland Sportsman's Club of Williamsport, Md.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, the outdoors and spending time in the mountains.

Survivors include wife, F. Ruth Hill Andrews married Nov. 15, 1963 of Williamsport; daughter, Sherry R. Andrews-Moore and her husband Robin of Funkstown, Md.; stepson, Roger L. Hill of Williamsport; sister, Carolyn J. Smith of Hagerstown, Md.; brother, Harry L. Andrews of Hagerstown, Md.; brother, Michael P. Andrews of Hagerstown, Md.; granddaughter, Sierra N. Moore; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by one brother, Jerry L. Andrews.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 2 p.m. Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Father J. Collin Poston officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, Md.

The family requests the omission of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Catholic School, 218 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
