November 03, 2009

The 26th annual Kris Kringle Craft Show will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21 and 22, at Hagerstown Community College's Athletic, Recreation and Community Center, 11400 Robinwood Drive in Hagerstown.

The show will feature more than 250 handcrafters, more than 100 new vendors, wider aisles, larger booth spaces and more floor space.

Admission cost $1 with proceeds going to Hospice of Washington County Inc.

Hours for the show will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Parking will be free. Golf cart shuttle will be available at no cost. Shopping bags will be given away, there will be a free gift-wrapping station and a package holding area will be provided. Door prizes will be given away.

This is a nonprofit show. Donations of nonperishable food items for Christmas baskets for families and/or a new toy for underprivileged children are requested. All items will be donated to Hagerstown Trinity Lutheran Church for distribution to families.

The organizers are also looking for any volunteers, clubs or organizations that would like to volunteer to work at the free gift-wrapping station, the door prize table or the package holding area.

High school students can earn student service learning hours by working at the craft show.
