Incidents reported in Washington County



The Washington County Sheriff's Department reported the following calls:

Monday, Nov. 2

o At 1:49 a.m., a report of subjects hit with water balloons thrown from the side of the road at Mapleville and Chewsville roads.

o At 7:09 a.m., two rear tires were reported slashed during the night in the 11200 block of Kemps Mill Road.

o At 8:53 a.m., report of a shed broken into in the 13800 block of Barnhart Road.

o At 1:19 p.m., a report from Martin's Food, North Pointe Drive, that the store detained a person for allegedly stealing medication. The store was to pursue charges through the commissioner's office.

o At 2:22 p.m., Hillside Liquors, in the 19100 block of Keep Tryst Road, reported deposits were stolen from the store sometime in October.

o At 8:26 p.m., a cell phone was reported stolen at a bus stop at Valley Mall.




Hagerstown Police respond to calls



Hagerstown Police recently responded to the following incidents:

Sunday, Nov. 1

o A red riding lawn mower was reported stolen in the 1100 block of Connecticut Avenue.

o A Remington semi-automatic rifle was reported stolen in the 800 block of Frederick Street.

o A window was reported damaged in the 1600 block of Pullman Lane.

o A GPS was reported stolen in the 1600 block of Pullman Lane.

o A Pennsylvania license plate was reported stolen in the 300 block of South Burhans Boulevard.

Saturday, Oct. 31

o A wall was reported damaged in the unit block of Antietam Street.

o CDs were reported stolen in the 900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

o An XM radio was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

o A purse was reported stolen in the 900 block of Dual Highway.

Friday, Oct. 30

o At 4:03 a.m., a second-degree assault was reported in the 300 block of South Cannon Avenue.

o At 12:56 a.m., a second-degree assault was reported in the 600 block of Oak Hill Avenue.

o An assault was reported in the unit block of West North Avenue.

o Stereo equipment was reported stolen in the unit block of Elizabeth Street.

o An assault was reported in the 300 block of South Cannon Avenue.

o A coin machine was reported damaged in the 100 block of West Church Street.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

o At 7:48 p.m., a second-degree assault was reported in the 700 block of West Church Street.
