Nellie Eileen Jacobs, 88, of Hagerstown, Md., died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born Oct. 15, 1921, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Elsie Bachtel Kershner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Jacobs, in 1986.
She was a private duty licensed practical nurse working in Washington and Berkeley counties.
She was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church, Hagerstown.
Survivors include daughter, Bonnie L. Hart of Falling Waters, W.Va.; brother, Van Kershner of Dundalk, Md.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Spencer V. Beasley and Edward W. Beasley; seven sisters; and five brothers.
The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, from 10 a.m. to noon. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.
