Spaghetti dinner
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 2150 Boteler Road, Brownsville, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The menu will include spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, tossed salad, homemade cake/pie and iced tea or coffee. Tickets cost $5.95 for adults and $2.95 for children. Those younger than 5 will be admitted free. Active and retired military will be charged $2.95. A bake sale table will be available. Ruritan to hold oyster, ham, turkey dinner
The Rohrersville Ruritan will hold an oyster, ham and turkey dinner Saturday, Nov. 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Rohrersville Ruritan Community Schoolhouse. Please bring containers for carry outs. Dog safety program
The Humane Society of Washington County will present a program on dog safety for children at the Keedysville Library Tuesday at 5 p.m. Feel free to bring a picture of your pet to share. Gifts for the shelter (blankets, dog/cat food, etc.) will also be accepted.
Spaghetti dinner
Christ Reformed UCC, Sharpsburg, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner Saturday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church on Main St. in Sharpsburg. Eat in costs $7 per person and carry out costs $5 per person (includes spaghetti and garlic bread). Those younger than 8 will be admitted free. The dinner includes spaghetti (meatless sauce available), garlic bread, salad, fruit salad, applesauce, iced tea, lemonade and water. The proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Sunday School program.
