Doris Marie Moore, 78, of 410 Guilford Ave. in Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 19, 1930, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry Charles Reese and Lena Elsie Baker Reese.
She was a life member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, Chapelwood Garden Club and AARP, and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry S. Moore, whom she married Dec. 2, 1952. She also is survived by two sisters, Betty Jane Hutzel of Hagerstown, and Patricia Ann Chaney and husband, Lloyd A. Chaney, of Clear Spring; one brother, Perry F. Reese and wife, Nancy J. Reese, of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
