Introduction to ceramics

MONT ALTO, Pa. - The Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies at Penn State Mont Alto will offer an introduction to ceramics studio class. 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Dec. 2. Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies, Penn State Mont Alto, Room 008, General Studies building. $125 for the public; $100 for center members and Penn State Mont Alto faculty, staff and students. $50 fee for materials for all registrants. Home energy analyst course

Hagerstown Community College along with Allegany College of Maryland is offering home energy analyst classes for individuals interested in becoming residential audit contractors for Allegheny Power. The 35-hour course meets from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, Nov. 2. Contractor applicants selected by Allegheny Power will receive a $750 tuition refund.
