There are numerous parts for all ages.

Called "Christmas Vignettes," the holiday show is a new format for MAC. Producing director Brice Williams collected five short Christmas plays, recruited five directors and added local musical talent to create the first-ever MAC holiday dessert theater.

Williamsport exhibit wraps up second season

Williamsport - The National Canal Museum's traveling exhibit, Building America's Canals, recently left Williamsport after a successful second season. Located in the restored Trolley Barn at the Cushwa Basin in the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park, the hands-on exhibit was on-site from April to October in 2008 and, based upon its popularity, was brought back for the same period this year.

Through an arrangement with Washington County Public Schools, every fourth grader in the county was able to come and experience the exhibit as part of their local history lessons. In addition, private schools and homeschoolers took advantage of this opportunity.
