Hagerstown police respond to calls

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:

Oct. 7

o Breaking and entering was reported on North Mulberry Street. Nothing was taken.

o A stolen and recovered scooter was reported in the 500 block of Liberty Street.

o Theft of Maryland registration plates was reported in the 300 block of South Locust Street.

o Jewelry was reported stolen in the 300 block of South Locust Street.

Oct. 8

o Damage to property was reported on Alexander Street.

o Wire was reported stolen in Fallen Timbers Circle.

o A wallet and a cell phone were reported stolen in the 400 block of Salem Avenue.

o A vehicle was reported scratched in the 1000 block of Fairview Road.

Oct. 9

o A door was reported damaged in a burglary in an apartment on East Washington Street.

o DVDs were reported stolen but were recovered during a theft at Wal-Mart on Garland Groh Boulevard.

o Shoplifting was reported at CVS on North Cannon Avenue. Items were recovered.

o A black 20-inch Redline bicycle was stolen in the 300 block of East Franklin Street.

o Medication was reported stolen from Martin's on Dual Highway.

o An unauthorized ATM withdrawal was reported in the 1600 block of Wesel Boulevard.

Oct. 10

o A Pennsylvania temporary plate was reported stolen in the 900 block of Hamilton Boulevard.

o A video game was reported stolen and recovered at Wal-Mart on Garland Groh Boulevard.

o Medication was reported stolen from an apartment on South Potomac Street.

o Razors were reported stolen from Martin's on Wesel Boulevard.

Oct. 11

o An assault and false imprisonment were reported in the 300 block of North Mulberry Street.

o Second-degree assault was reported at North Potomac and Franklin streets.

o CDs were reported stolen in the 500 block of Summit Avenue.

o A female reportedly stole items and fled from Martin's on Wesel Boulevard.

o A cell phone was reported stolen at Main Avenue and Ross Street.

o A vehicle window was damaged in the 200 block of Jonathan Street.

o A laptop computer, a PlayStation 3 and an iPhone were stolen during a burglary in the 400 block of Wyoming Avenue.

o Scratches to a vehicle were reported in the 900 block of Hamilton Boulevard.

o Stolen DVDs were reported in the 1700 block of Wesel Boulevard.

Oct. 13

o A stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

o A hair dryer was reported stolen from CVS on Dual Highway.
