HCC plans trip to National Cathedral

Hagerstown Community College's Center for Continuing Education is offering a one-day tour and tea at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., Tuesday, Dec. 1.

A motor coach will take participants to Washington for a guided tour of the National Cathedral and a historic tour of crches from around the world, followed by a special tea service, at 3 p.m., in the St. Paul Room of the Pilgrim's Observation Gallery. Tea fare includes scones with clotted cream and an assortment of sweets and finger sandwiches.

Following the tea, participants will have the opportunity to shop at the Cathedral bookstore, as well as the Herb Cottage gift shop. The cost is $80, which includes a fully equipped motor coach, transportation/gratuity and all entrance fees, as well as the tour and tea.
