St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will speak Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. The parish choir will provide music at the later service. Sunday school classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m., including an adult forum on The First Paul.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Quentin Fleming will preside at the 8:15 a.m. service and the 10:30 a.m. communion service Sunday on the topic, Measuring Greatness. Sunday school is at 9 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Marty Stevens is guest preacher Sunday at the single 10:55 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary. Pastor Eric Norgard is presider. Lay assisting minister is Tyler Fairley.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Mark DiLandro's topic at the 9:30 a.m. Laity Sunday service is We Are The Church.

Tri-State Fellowship, at all three services Sunday, the message is Stealing from God by Senior Pastor Randy Buchman. Full morning children's and student programs are offered for infants through 12th grade, along with many choices for adults during both sessions. Youth groups for high school and middle school held at 6 p.m.
