Stabbing victim released from hospital

HAGERSTOWN - A man who was stabbed in downtown Hagerstown was released from Washington County Hospital on Thursday morning, officials said.

Thomas Norris, 22, was stabbed in the back numerous times and had non-life-threatening injuries, Hagerstown Police said. His address and hometown were not available.

Police responded to 67 E. Franklin St. at 12:09 a.m. Thursday to find Norris, according to a news release. An unknown person fled before officers arrived.
