HCC to offer home energy analyst course

Hagerstown Community College and Allegany College of Maryland are offering Home Energy Analyst classes for anyone interested in being residential audit contractors for Allegheny Power.

The next scheduled class starts the week of Nov. 2. It runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The 35-hour course covers topics in energy analysis of single-family homes, building science and calculation of space and volume, and use of energy flow measuring and diagnostic equipment.
