THURMONT, Md. -- Tricia Leigh had 19 digs and 14 service points to pace Williamsport to a 25-13, 25-18, 25-13 sweep of host Catoctin.

Paige Kitchen tallied 24 assists, Sam Kelly had 12 kills and Ariah Giles added nine kills for the Wildcats (4-7).

JV: Williamsport, 2-0.

Greencastle 3, Shippensburg 0

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- Kelsey Gearhart had 11 service points, three aces and nine kills as Greencastle swept Shippensburg, 25-13, 25-11, 25-15.

Katy Bobbitt had 11 service points, Nakita Gearhart had seven service points and five kills, Erin Garns had nine service points and 26 assists, Lauren Verhoef had five kills, Sammi Rudy had 10 service points and five kills, Alex Baughman had 18 service points and Rachel Kline had five kills for the Blue Devils.

Southern Fulton 3, Hancock 0

HANCOCK -- Brooke Cross had 11 service points and three aces to lead Southern Fulton in a 25-15, 25-20, 26-24 sweep of Hancock.

Rachel Norris had seven digs, Jenna Ritz had 10 assists, Alexis Knisely had six kills and a block and Steph Iker had a block for the Indians (2-10).

Briana Swisher had six digs and four kills, Sierra Sink added six service points and Katie Cropp had five digs for Hancock (2-8).

James Buchanan 3, McConnellsburg 1

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. -- A'leese Dickerson had 16 kills, eight digs, five aces and a block as McConnellsburg lost to James Buchanan 25-15, 26-24, 23-25, 25-14.

Lisa DeShong had 20 assists and 15 digs, Emily Watkins had six kills and 10 digs, Valerie Green had 17 digs and Courtney DeShong had seven digs and six aces for the Spartans.

JV: McConnellsburg 2-1.

BRUNSWICK, Md. -- Amber Shumaker scored unassisted for Williamsport (6-6).

Bishop Walsh 5, Southern Fulton 0

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. -- Dalton Ingram had two goals as Bishop Walsh shut out Southern Fulton.

Matt Kelly, Ian Stanley and Zach Wolodkin each had a goal for Bishop Walsh.

Tyler Trail and Courtney Strait combined on 14 saves for the Indians (1-9-1).

Saint James events canceled

SAINT JAMES, Md. -- Due to an outbreak of the flu throughout the school, all athletic events scheduled through Thursday at Saint James have been canceled.

Hedgesville hosts clinics

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Secondary Schools Athletic Commission will conduct a clinic for boys and girls basketball coaches and officials Wednesday at Hedgesville High School at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. All varsity and freshmen head coaches must attend the clinic.

Hedgesville will also host a clinic for swimming and wrestling coaches on Oct. 24, also at 6 p.m. for all head coaches. The swim clinic will be in the cafeteria and wrestling clinic in the library.
