Auditions for Wayside productions



MIDDLETOWN, Va. - Wayside Theatre is holding open call auditions for a Christmas musical for Wayside Theatre's 2009 holiday season, the remainder of the season and future shows. Auditions are scheduled for noon to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, and Tuesday, Oct. 13; and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. Ag heritage art show entries sought



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- The Franklin County Planning Department and the Greencastle-Antrim School District art department are seeking entries in their second annual show to highlight farmland preservation, the "Preserving Our Agricultural Heritage Art Show." Art will be displayed Nov. 14 through Nov. 20 at the Ag Heritage Center, 185 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg.

Works will be accepted by artists ages 5 and older. Art media on paper or canvas can be used; digital art and photography as well as mixed media works will be accepted. 3-D pieces will not be accepted.

All artwork must be received between 5 and 8 p.m., Wednesday Nov. 11, and should be delivered to the Ag Heritage Center.
