Chambersburg man killed in motorcycle accident

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- A Chambersburg man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday in the 14000 block of Lincoln Way West in Peters Township, according to a press release from the Franklin County Coroner's Office.

Kimball Ellis Watts, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:05 p.m., the release said. The cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma.

Watts was riding a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on U.S. 30 when he left the north side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and lost control, the release said. Watts was wearing a helmet.
