Local walker achieves lengthy milestone

On Sunday, Sept. 27, local resident Mike Weaver of Greenfield Avenue, reached a significant milestone of his own. Mike walks five miles every day, and you have probably seen him walking Cearfoss Pike and the back roads of Maugansville, picking up trash along the way.

On Sept. 27, Mike walked five miles for the 5,000th consecutive day. If you see Mike along the road, honk your horn to acknowledge his incredible streak.
