H1N1 community presentation

FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick County Health Department will host a community presentation about pandemic H1N1 flu, which will also include time for questions and answers. The presentation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at JBK Theater at Frederick County Community College, 7932 Opossumtown Pike. For parking, take north entrance to lot 14. Program about good health

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Morgan County War Memorial Hospital's Center for Rehab & Wellness, 261 Berkmore Place, Suite 2A, will offer a free presentation "Fall Into Good Health" at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12. YMCA senior play day

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -Chambersburg YMCA, 570 E. McKinley St., Chambersburg, will host a senior play day from 1 to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13. The event is for active adults older than 50. Holistic health conference

FREDERICK, Md. - The Holistic Family Health Conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Frederick Community College Conference Center.

The conference will offer presentations as well as a vendor fair and the opportunity to meet others interested in the field.

Costs $29, and includes lunch. A limited number of scholarships are available to those with financial need.
