FEDERALSBURG, Md. -- Adam Mellott had 123 passing yards, including a 65-yard TD pass to Sam Adams that broke a 6-6 tie in the fourth quarter, as Clear Spring picked up a 13-6 road win Friday night over Colonel Richardson (0-5).

Mellott also had 77 yards rushing, while Adams finished with 92 receiving yards. Ken Bosic starred on defense with 14 total tackles and two forced fumbles for the Blazers (2-3).

Kam Puller had 41 yards on 11 carries, including touchdowns runs of 2 and 4 yards, David Hammond had a 29-yard TD run, David Gladden had a 10-yard TD run, Chris Perkins had a 26-yard TD run, David Arndt scored on a 60-yard pass from Alex Schonhans and Kendall Redman had a 41-yard reception and two interceptions for the Bulldogs (5-1).

Brooks Kursey scored on a 10-yard pass from Zack Layhew for the Eagles (1-5).

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Rebecca Adams had 26 assists as Broadfording swept Faith Christian, 25-14, 25-6, 25-14.

Hannah Young had 14 kills and six digs, Charlotte Worsfold had seven kills and two aces and Danielle DuBois had two kills, 14 digs and four aces for the Lions (14-0, 11-0).

Heritage 3, New Life 0

Callie Butts had 25 assists, 12 service points, seven aces and five digs to lead Heritage Academy in a 25-16, 25-10, 25-18 MDCC sweep of New Life.

Kara Stamper had nine kills and 11 blocks, Rebekah Clarke had seven service points, five kills and three blocks and Jessica Gaylor had 10 service points and three kills for the Eagles (11-1, 10-1).

Lauren Serafini had 11 assists, while Erica Null added eight kills for Grace Academy (8-3, 7-3) in its 25-18, 25-21, 25-13 MDCC sweep of Calvary.

SMITHSBURG -- Sara Rishell had 11 kills and 10 service points for unbeaten Smithsburg in the 25-5, 25-9, 25-6 victory.

Taylor Belella had 22 assists and 14 service points, and Paige Decker added 13 service points for the Leopards (8-0).

Broadfording 3, Faith 0

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Stephen Torres had two goals as Broadfording shut out Faith Christian in an MDCC match.

Andy Torres also scored on an assist from Trevor Snodderly for the Lions (13-2, 11-1).

Luke Bunting had a goal and two assists, Zack Morgan added a goal and an assist and Caleb Serafini scored a goal for Grace Academy (13-1, 10-0 MDCC).

Heritage 4, New Life 3

Travis Barthalow scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead Heritage Academy past New Life.

Bryan Defelice had two goals and an assist, Mark Taggart and J.R. Dudeck each had an assist and Josh Long had 15 saves for the Eagles (6-4-1, 6-4-1).

Northern Bedford 4, McConnellsburg 1

LOYSBURG, Pa. -- Colby Sowers scored the lone goal on a Nathan Swope assist for McConnellsburg (3-4).

Aaron Brenner scored twice for Northern Bedford, while Andy Hoover and Dan Brallier each added a goal.
