Rude Mechanicals invited to Toronto
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The Rude Mechanicals Medieval and Renaissance Players, the early drama troupe associated with Shepherd University's English Department, has been invited to perform May 21 through 24 at Chester 2010, an international medieval drama festival and conference at the University of Toronto.
The company has been invited to perform Play 14, the "Last Supper and Betrayal." About 18 students will participate.
A performance of the "Last Supper and Betrayal" will take place in April at Shepherd, with auditions open to all on Wednesday, Nov. 18, and Thursday, Nov. 19.

ArtOberfest needs vendors, artists
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Mercersburg Council for the Arts' second annual ArtOberfest will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. Artist vendors and demonstrations will be from 4 to 7 p.m., music begins at 5:30 p.m. Events take place in downtown Mercersburg, and surrounding areas.
