Younger Motorcars

Dave Carroll has been appointed as general manager of Younger Motorcars.

Carroll will oversee operations at Younger Toyota and Younger Mitsubishi.

Carroll has more than 25 years of automotive experience, holding positions in sales, finance and management. He has won 10 President's Awards and recently completed the NADA General Dealership Management Program for overall management of an automotive dealership.

Carroll is a graduate of Perry Hall High School.

Automated Office Equipment

WILLIAMSPORT - Robert "Bobby" Harmon recently joined the sales team at Automated Office Equipment.

Harmon's responsibilities include marketing a full product line of Kyocera/Copystar products, Okidata color devices, Panasonic fax and whiteboards, and supplies and services to support these products. His territory includes Washington County and Pennsylvania.

Harmon has more than 20 years of experience marketing office equipment and supplies, including copiers, fax machines, printers, shredders and many other devices.


o Anne Henderson recently completed her certification on the 500ci series of Kyocera TASKalfa color copy/print systems.

Henderson serves the needs of the businesses, government entities and nonprofit organizations throughout the Eastern Panhandle and northern Virginia. Her responsibilities include marketing the full product line of Kyocera/Copystar products, Okidata color devices, Panasonic fax and whiteboards, and supplies and services to support these products.

Henderson has been with Automated Office Equipment for more than 13 years, starting in the office before moving into outside sales.

Volvo Powertrain North America

Jeff Dorand has been named Employee of the Month for August at Volvo Powertrain North America.

Dorand was recognized for his positive attitude and for being an effective, innovative, flexible and supportive leader in the Quality Department.

Orrstown Bank

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Terry Barbuzanes has joined Orrstown Bank as a mortgage originator in the bank's Greencastle, Pa., market.

Barbuzanes is a graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. She also is a graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Banking at Dickinson College and the Bucknell School of Banking, and has completed various Pennsylvania Bankers Association and paralegal courses.

Hagerstown-Washington County EDC

Robert Jeffers recently was appointed to the board of directors of the Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission (EDC) as an at-large representative.

Jeffers will serve the unexpired term of newly appointed District Court Judge Dana Moylan Wright, ending June 30, 2010. Wright served on the EDC board since 2004.

Jeffers is the president and owner of the local Manpower Staffing Services franchise with offices in Hagerstown, Frederick, Md., Martinsburg, W.Va., and Winchester, Va.

Jeffers holds a political science degree from State University of New York at Oswego. He has served in leadership positions on several business and community boards, including the Kiwanis Club, Boys & Girls Club and Leadership Washington County, of which he is a 1991 graduate.

Terry Fincham, an agency owner with Allstate Insurance Co. in Hagerstown, recently received Allstate's Regional Champions award.

The award is based on high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and profitable business growth.

Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Sharon Gunder and James Stoneham of the Greencastle office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA were recognized as the office's top agents for August.

Gunder was recognized in the three years and over category, and Stoneham was recognized in the three years and under category.

The award is based on the number of listings taken, sales made and closed sales, as well as attendance at Realtor functions and continuing education classes completed.

Cushwa, a Washington County resident, has more than 35 years of extensive financial services and diversified entrepreneurial experience, including wealth management positions with national investment firms.

Cushwa holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Maryland. He is a chartered portfolio manager and an accredited investment fiduciary.

Stein has worked in the financial industry for 20 years. He began his financial career at Ameriprise Financial Services as a financial adviser in 1989. He was promoted to senior financial adviser in 1995.

Stein is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis and is a member of the CFA Institute Society.
