MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Earl Stanley "Jerry" Wolfe, 64, of Martinsburg and formerly of Boonsboro, Md., passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at his home following a battle with cancer.

Born May 4, 1945, in Smithsburg, Md., to the late Noah G. and Mable C. Robinson Wolfe.

Jerry was a bricklayer and a truck driver by trade, and he was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He most recently was employed with The Dry Dock Pub in Martinsburg.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Janice V. Flook Wolfe; a daughter, Jody L. Rockenbaugh and husband, Fred, of Williamsport, Md.; daughter, Jeanette M. Wolfe and husband, Chris Fauble, of Boonsboro; son, Jeffrey A. Wolfe and wife, Carol, of Martinsburg; son, Jamie G. Wolfe and wife, Lauri Miller, of Martinsburg; granddaughter, Julia R. Rockenbaugh of Williamsport; grandson, Landon J.Wolfe of Martinsburg; sister, E. LaFern "Sammie" Smith of Smithsburg; sister, Patricia A. Steinmetz of Hagerstown; brother, George R. "Terry" Wolfe Sr. of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly J. Miller; and a nephew, George R. "Terry" Wolfe Jr.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., today from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. today for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Elza M. Hurst officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
